First things first - all about our frozen ice pops, aka Spice Pops!
Spice Pops are our original, all-natural frozen sweet ice pops, in funky and fun flavors created by our founder, Lynley. They’re handmade in small batches right here in Montclair, NJ and infused with spices, herbs and lots of good summery stuff. Customers love them ❤️ and they’ll be lining up to buy them from you!

Spice Pop Lead Salesperson - Your Role:
In this role, you’ll be running our Spice Pop sales stands on your own from beginning to end for each market or event.
For some events, you’ll use your own car to transport everything to and from the event. For other events, you’ll load our Spicecycle cart and ride it to the event (with a helmet).
Either way, here’s how it works:
1) You’ll load up at our kitchen headquarters in Montclair Center, then head to the location. We’ll give you all the info on how many pops to bring, how to load everything up, and where to go. Events are at various locations within a 5-20 minute drive from our headquarters (or a 15-minute ride on the Spicecycle).
2) When you get to the location, you’ll set everything up, text us some pics and start selling! We’ll train you on our simple setup so you’ll know exactly what to do for each event.
3) At the end of the event, you’ll load everything back up and return it to headquarters. That’s it!
Compensation:
You’ll earn $125 for each event, plus bonuses when you reach sales targets! Each event will be about 6 hours total.
Additional training time will be paid at $16.50/hour.

Team Schedule:
We’re looking for a 1-2 outstanding people to join our sales team for the 2026 season. You’ll take turns with the rest of the team working events throughout the season from April-October this year. We’re looking for people who are available most weekends, but we’ll work together to put together a schedule that works for everyone.
For the most part, Spice Pop sales are rain or shine. We have strategies to keep you in the shade, and under cover if it starts to rain while you’re working. But you should be prepared to work outdoors in all kinds of weather.
In cases of extreme weather, we may cancel your shift.
Hiring and Training Process:
Once you fill out an application, here’s what will happen:
1) If it seems to us like you may be a good fit for the position, we’ll be in touch to set up an interview.
2) If you’re selected to move forward as a finalist, we may ask you to work a few short shifts to show you the ropes before bringing you on board. This will give you a sense of our business, and we can see what it might be like to work together. You’ll be paid $16.50/hour for your time.
3) We may ask you to participate in additional interviews or other activities before we make a final selection.
If you’re selected for the position, we’ll get you started right away. After orientation and hands-on training, you’ll be ready to work on your own. You’ll be paid $16.50/hour for all training sessions.
Our goal is to get you up and running on your own with the full $125 per day as soon as you’re ready!

Spice Pops sales is a super fun job! You’ll meet lots of nice people and give them tasty treats all day long. We smile and greet everyone who comes our way, and we make new friends just about every day!
You’ll work very independently, with a lot of responsibility. And you’ll also collaborate with other team members.

Physically fit, able to stand throughout your shift, carry heavy coolers up and down stairs, and ride the Spicecycle (bicycle) wherever needed.

More About What to expect:
You’ll need a clean black shirt/sweater/top with no logos or writing to wear during each shift.
You’ll be handling money, keys and access codes, so we’ll need to run a background check to make sure you won’t have any issues with those tasks, and to keep everyone safe.
You’ll need a fully-charged phone with Bluetooth to use as a hotspot to connect our POS devices at each event. Most regular smartphones have these capabilities with an unlimited data plan.
Your phone will need to be on Do Not Disturb and put away out of sight during your shift.
You should be prepared to stand on your feet throughout your shift. We don’t sit down or lean on things while selling.
