Ground from green mangoes, Amchur is a classic ingredient in Indian and south Asian dishes. Use amchur to add a bright, citrusy note to any dish. Use this as the “acid” in any dish, with the same effect as a squeeze of lemon or lime (but without the extra liquid).
Our freshly-ground Green Mango Amchur comes in amber jars that are a bit smaller than our standard jars (approx 1/3 cup per jar). This packaging is specifically designed for freshly-ground spices, to minimize light exposure and help them stay fresher longer.
