Grand Marnier Cream Sauce

Perfect drizzled over summer fruit or berries, or desserts such as Brioche Bread Pudding with Strawberries.

Serves 4-6

Grand Marnier Cream Sauce being poured over Brioche Bread Pudding with Fresh Strawberries made in the Adventure Kitchen.

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup heavy whipping cream

3 Tablespoons Grand Marnier liqueur

1. In a small, heavy saucepan, combine sugar and cream. Stir with a wooden spoon or spatula to combine (but avoid vigorously whisking the mixture, so as not to create whipped cream). Warm over medium-low heat until the sugar has fully dissolved into the cream. Adjust the heat as needed to dissolve the sugar without allowing the cream to boil. This should take roughly 5-8 minutes.

2. Turn off heat, then stir in the Grand Marnier. Serve warm or at room temperature.
