About this class:
Beef Salmi is a traditional Mauritian stew that sits at the crossroads of African, Asian and French cuisines.
Salmi is made with a combination of cloves, cinnamon, chili and red wine to create a pungent and flavorful dish. All participants will get the full recipe and shopping list, along with the replay of our live event, so they can make this dish anytime!
Krishna Chetti is the chef/owner of Petite-Ile, providing authentic Mauritian samosas and other goodies in local markets in Montclair and northern NJ. In this class, he’ll be sharing his deep knowledge and love of Mauritian food traditions and cuisine with us. Can’t wait!
