Happy New Year!
Dear Adventure Kitchen Friends,
I am amazed, overwhelmed and deeply blessed by the enthusiastic support you have so generously given since I started Adventure Kitchen.
It’s only been about a year (14 1/2 months, to be exact) since I decided to turn the fun cooking classes I’d been teaching at my kids’ school into some sort of business. I had been a stay-at-home mom for 10 years, and although prior to that I had worked in business, I had never started my own and I had no idea how – or whether – this would work out.
As you can probably tell, I’ve been learning a lot on the fly. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your patience while I have figured out (and at times messed up!) everything from building and running a website, to learning how to photograph food, to using Facebook, to learning how to work the email system.
We are growing and changing all the time. There are about 1,000 things I think Adventure Kitchen should do, including more classes, more and better content online, books, videos, guest bloggers, field trips, events and parties, and many more adventures. There are many exciting things already in the works for 2016 that I can’t wait to tell you about!
Please reach out to me with your ideas and insights. I want to know what is working for you, what we should do more of, and definitely, if there’s anything we should stop doing. There are literally so many exciting things to do, the hardest part is choosing which things to work on next, and I would love to hear what you think.
